Just tuned into the RadioEMFM live stream via internet from North Vancouver, BC Canada and can say it is great to hear some tunes and familiar sounds from country Victoria. Keep up the great work and thanks for the streaming.
I think that this radio stations demographic is mainly the older people over 55.
If it wants more of a wider demograhic it will have to change a lot including the presenters and music. Not any body can just become a radio announcer its iether you got it or u dont and I think think this station need more commercial ads
Hello Charles,
I understand how you mean,
Radio EMFM 104.7 is a community based station catering for the needs of the community. We are not a commercial radio station in anyway and we are allowed to play only 5 minutes of “sponsors” every hour.
I would say that we do cater for a wider demographic of listeners as we play from the 50’s right up to TODAY’s music, please have a look at the program guide to see when we do play music for the younger generation.
We are currently in the process of designing a structure for every day On AIR listening for a more enjoyable listening experience.

Just me again. Thanks to Nathan and Country Generations for playing my request.
Sorry I requested a non independent artist, I still loved hearing Something In The Water by Lee Kernaghan Nathan and thanks for playing it.
Is Grant Richardson still an independant? ..If he is, I’d love it if you’d play something of his sometime.
Particularly a song called Huey. It’s probably on one of the old NFS albums. Thanks again and Hugs
